I don't usually look to celebrities when it comes to hair and make up; I'm a pretty basic big hair/big eyes kind of girl. My holiday boredom has officially set in however, which led me to look for inspiration to spice up my now boring routine.
Then I came across this absolutely perfect look. Katy Perry has got it so so right here in my books. The luxe old Hollywood curls, the flawless pale make up, the modern update to a classic look with the purple hair: It's all perfect. The eyes and lips are such an easy to achieve but statement look. Most magazines usually tell you to either focus on your eyes or your lips, but this statement look on both works so well - those big lashes and bold eyeliner pretty much sum up a perfect night out look for me. Will definitely be trying this the next time I'm out!
