Well, that was a definite exaggeration. But it made you look. Ha.
So it is the final week before my Christmas deadlines which of course means I've pretty much gone into a meltdown. Fun nail varnish shopping has been replaced by fancy Chanel Talcum Powder shopping for my Mum and trying to teach my Dad what an iPad is...anyway! After a terrifying uni presentation on Friday I was feeling like I very much needed a treat, and something new to blog about!
Cue Urban Outfitters. Their pre-Christmas sale was verrrrrryy enticing, and I found myself with some very cute patterned over-the-knee socks reduced from £10 to £4.50. This is pretty much gold to someone in a student house with crappy heating and a permanently freezing house. Result!
Then something amazing happened. I spotted these cute leopard print pumps with a slight heel and stud detail and disregarded them - honestly I do not need another pair of shoes - but then saw the price sticker of only £10. £10!! It was only fate that they fitted me perfectly and looked completely delicious on. Double result!
This was when I started saying maybe I should leave the sale section. But no. Urban Outfitters got me again. I am a massive fan of boots; every kind of boot that ever was. But I really wanted a solid pair of black ankle boots this Winter. With Topshop asking £70+ for a decent pair, damn them being on trend, I didn't think I'd find an affordable good pair.
Hello. These babies caught my eye hidden away in the corner of the sale section and priced at only £40 (reduced from £85) they are an absolute dream. The square top makes my size 7 feet look tiny and cute - quite frankly these boots are perfect.
So that is the story of how the Urban Outfitters sale saved my sanity and kept me happy during the essay stress of December!
